One Act Season Senior Year

Well its the end of our One Act Season already. We took 2nd at Sub-sections and tied for 8th at Sections. I am so excited for all my fellow One Actors on how amazingly talented we are and how far we got this year we have made everyone so proud. Congratulations everyone on a job well done!

The play we performed was Cyrano de Bergerac  (if you've ever seen the movie Roxanne that is a comical, modern version of the play we did). Its about a love triangle between Cyrano who loves Roxanne who loves Christian who loves Roxanne. Cyrano thinks he will never be loved by Roxanne because of his nose but he can write beautiful poetry and speaks of love like a master. Christian is very handsome yet has troubles speaking to ladies. Cyrano and Christian work together to make the perfect man for Roxanne but Roxanne falls more in love with the poems Cyrano writes instead of Christians looks. Christian dies in battle and Roxanne goes into the Convent to morn and Cyrano visits her every Saturday but he gets hit on the head with a block of wood. Roxanne finds out that the one she loved was originally Cyrano but he dies in her arms.
